This is the Lion of Judah Located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Being from the Bahamas, where the Rastafarian movement is present and growing in numbers , I grew a great interest in Haile Selassie and that interest led to desire to visit my origin country of Africa. This statue that is located in Ethiopia strikes me as wildly fascinating because of the research undertaken by myself. Curiosity makes me excited to find out the truth of the homeland : Is Ethiopia home to the biblically inspired Tribe of Judah ? Was Haile Selassie the Lion of Judah , Conquering Lion? Is Ethiopia home to the true Ark of The Covenant as reported by claims ? and if the Revelation ( last book of the bible) proclaims The Tribe of Judah is going to rise up -, how would this undertaking play out within the world and the grand scheme of things. (Currently finishing up my last semester in New York. I am planning a trip to Africa , instead of asking for traditional graduation gifts, I am planning on asking my family to aid in a ticket to Ethiopia to quench my desire for truth, my yearning to return to the origin of civilization and my need to connect with my people. I hope all goes well. The journey begins June 16th, 2012. <3 )
